How CMC Dry Ice Got Started
CMC Dry Ice is a division of CMC Industrial Services LLC, founded by Mike Coleman, who brings over 15 years of experience in dry ice and abrasive blasting. In 2016, Mike launched CMC Industrial Services to provide industrial dry ice blasting and surface preparation services. Building on that foundation, he established CMC Dry Ice Manufacturing in 2020 with a vision to transform the dry ice industry through exceptional customer service, reliability, and product quality — rather than treating dry ice as a commodity.
As a Certified Veteran-Owned Small Business, CMC Dry Ice continues to grow under Mike's leadership while staying true to its roots as a family-owned operation, and proudly supports veteran initiatives across North Carolina. Today, we produce 100,000+ lbs of fresh dry ice every day across multiple facilities, all built around one promise: every order is made within 24 hours of pickup or delivery — never pulled from storage, never sitting around losing cooling power.
